The Event
The Peter Lonard Classic will be staged at the Central Coast’s number one golf course, Magenta Shores……recently ranked in the top 25 Australian golf courses. This is a five day golfing experience – on day one come and rub shoulders with professionals & celebrities, in a truly unique 9-hole skins format, with $1,500 up for grabs on each hole. Professionals & celebrities include......Peter Lonard, Nathan Green, Peter Senior, Andrew Johns, Peter Sterling, Mark Waugh and Kerri-anne Kennerley. plus, Mark Bylsma, the current Australian Long drive champion!

Spectators are welcome to walk along with the professionals and celebrities and see them take on the might of Magenta Shores. No ticketing is required, just be at Magenta Shores at around 1.30pm-2.00pm on Monday 8th December. The only cost for a great afternoon will be an entry donation of $10. A sausage sizzle and Blue Tongue beer tasting will be available, with STAR FM broadcasting live from Magenta that afternoon.

On Tuesday there will be a relaxed Ambrose Classic (Please Note: AMBROSE EVENT IS SOLD OUT!). Wednesday it’s time to forget about golf and sample the many leisure activities the Central Coast has to offer. Thursday and Friday it’s down to the business end of the event...the Peter Lonard Classic. This 36-hole individual stableford event is for golfers of all levels and will be staged over the Thursday and Friday, with the final day being a seeded draw. To complete a sensational week of golf, Magenta Shores will host the Peter Lonard Classic Gala Dinner (Thursday night) followed by the prize presentation and farewell cocktail party.

Magenta Shores Golf & Country Club is one of Australia’s finest and newest golf developments on the Central Coast of NSW. The Ross Watson designed course has become a topic of conversation under 'a must-play' list of many golfers. The course has picked up many accolades in its 24 month history; Golf Australia magazine ranked Magenta as their 2007 NSW “Best Resort Course” and more recently Magenta was ranked in the top 25 Australian golf courses by Golf Digest magazine.
