Dooralong Transformation Centre Update

Published on 3rd November 2018 in Uncategorised

At Magenta’s Christmas in July day, Magenta raised $2,825 for the District’s Ladies Charity Day. In total across the nine clubs in the district, the CCWGA raised $13,500. This money was presented to the Dooralong Transformation Centre and with that money and the District’s help they have purchased a golf cart. This is used to transport the less able residents around the complex as well as assist in moving other items.

Last Friday five ladies from both the CCWGA committee and Gosford golf club presented Major Gavin Watts from the centre with the cart. He and his staff were excited and very grateful for the kindness shown by the golfing community on the Central Coast. A plaque has been put on the cart as a token of appreciation to the CCWGA.
