If time was a factor and you don’t have 2.5 – 5 hours, there is the option of a Group Clinic on the Practice Range and Putting Greens.
Group sizes of 8 to 20 people at a time, can join in to learn about the basic techniques of the golf swing and how to hit different types of shots. The clinics are designed in a way to make the session fun but at the same time learn the importance of the basic fundamentals.
Mini Course Challenge
The golf course at Magenta Shores is one of the most challenging golf courses in the country. The experience, for a beginner or non-golfer, can be quite intimidating and difficult, therefore we have designed a Mini Course on the Driving Range.
There are five holes between the distances of 25 to 45 metres with sloping undulations replicating the 18 hole golf course but a shorter version. Although the greens are fairway length, the hole sizes are triple the size of a normal golf hole. This makes the experiences much more enjoyable and fun.
We allocate players into team colours that provokes competitiveness and plenty of laughter.
Have a friendly putting competition with a group of friends and/or work colleagues on the putting greens under the guidance of our Golf Professional. After a quick introduction to the competition and a demonstration on the basic techniques, the competition will begin. The putting competition can be played in teams or individually, depending on your groups needs.
For numbers of 8 to 20 it would be suggested to have a 6, 12 or 18 hole competition (depending on time, final numbers, etc). For numbers above 20 to 80 we can have a ‘nearest to pin’ putting competition across the full length of the putting green, which is a lot of fun for all levels of golfers.
1 hour, 6-10 players = $200
1 hour, 11-15 players = $250
1 hour, 16-20 players = $300
Prices may vary depending on group needs, extra time, etc.
On Course Professional
Have a Golf Professional on an allocated hole hitting drives for each player or the group. Usually, in an Ambrose event but can also work in Individual events. There is an option of charging a small fee, for each tee shot, of $5 or a gold coin donation going to a Charity of choice.
Beat the Pro
On a par 3 hole, a Golf Professional challenges the group to a Nearest to Pin contest. Any player that beats the Pro receives a small prize. If a player does not beat the Pro, they don’t win. Regardless of who wins, the team now has 5 shots to choose from in an Ambrose event.
Play with a Pro
Have a Golf Professional play a hole with each group, teaching them the basics of technique and course management. Also the Pro will play shots giving the group the option to take the Pro’s shot in an Ambrose event.
2.5 hours = $250
5 hours = $450.
Prices may vary depending on groups size, time, etc.
Additional cost for green fees and cart hire per player apply.
